Twenty-five years of skin, a decade of teaching, and one chart that explained everything — this is the story behind avmOS™.
I became a licensed esthetician in 1999, and for the first decade, I believed in the protocol. The cleanse, tone, treat, moisturize formula felt like certainty. I was good at it. My clients got results. I got comfortable.
But the longer I worked, the more I noticed something that no textbook explained: two women with identical Fitzpatrick skin types, identical breakout patterns, and identical routines would have completely opposite outcomes. One would clear up in three weeks. The other would get worse.
I spent years chasing the answer in chemistry — better acids, smarter peptides, cleaner formulations. I taught esthetics for ten years, developing curricula that licensed hundreds of practitioners. I built a program that outlasted my tenure. But the question never left me: why does the same thing do different things to different people?
